Shane Patrick White is a published author and artist who resides in the Pacific Northwest.
My work is the culmination of my varied art disciplines that I’ve had the pleasure of exploring over the years for my clients and mostly myself. It’s a collision of ideas grounded in my love of graphic design, kustom culture, retro-futurism, and comics. With every piece I wrestle with personal questions and conflicts with my antipathy toward society and pop culture. Sometimes nihilistic, often sincerely absurd–I do my best to build a world that might have been if we all cared a little less for each other. A warning if you will, of our insignificance.
The work at its most basic reflects my love of color and light as well as the interplay of movement and structure. With a background in narrative storytelling, it’s my desire to peel back the epidermal layers of the world to find a shared emotional truth. For writing and other story oddities go here.
